Ariel Fogel – Playing in the DCTO was an absolute pleasure! In addition to helping me deepen my understanding of the history, culture, and techniques associated with tango, I got to be part of an amazing community of caring musicians. I’m currently working on my PhD in Learning Sciences at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and continue playing music in an Afro-Cuban Jazz Ensemble.

Gretchen Rydin – My seven-year tenure in the Tango Orchestra taught me how to go with the flow and play for dancers. It also taught me various string articulation techniques for tango, and well, was just plain fun. Currently, I am a violist in the Denver Pops Orchestra.
